Read anything good lately...?

I feel like I read so much more in the summertime and it seems like a lot of people are the same way. So I am wondering what have you read this summer that you have loved? I have read a random assortment including: The Agony and the Ectasy, Hunger games, Ella Enchanted, and am currently reading the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. But I am starting to run out of ideas so let me know if you have read anything worthwhile:)

Dang, we should have planned our trips better! I'd love to see you guys again - I do remember you coming down to Newport Beach with us several years ago. That was the last time I had been! So fun.

Books...sadly, the Potato Peel Pie Society one is the only book I've read in the last 6 months or so. But, I do have some on my list: The Book Thief and Three Cups of Tea are among them.

Hope you're enjoying your summer!

I also read the Potato Peel Pie Society and loved it. Actually I listened to it and I recommend that. The accents are charming. I'm also listening to Three Cups of Tea. Jonathan and my nephew Tanner are both really into the Fablehaven series.

I am reading Angels and Demons right now and it is a really good and exciting read- I like it better than the DaVinci Code- I also want to read The Time Travelers Wife (just cause the movie looks so good)I heard it was really good. p.s.- I loved the Hunger Games and can't wait for the second one to come out!

I too read The Guersney Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and really enjoyed it.
I also LOVED These is my Words, which you may have read.
The Killer Angels was another great read, though you have to be patient enough to get into it a bit.

I loved the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. I also liked Elantris by him as well. I think you would really like that one.
Right now I am reading Jane and the Unpleasantness at Scargrave Manor by Stephanie Barron. It is actually letters and journal entries that Jane Austen wrote about a mystery she was involved in. Stephanie Barron compiled them into a book. It is very good. Hooray for summer reading. I am going to read some of the ones you wrote down as well. Thanks!

I just finished The Book Thief and I loved it! And now our book club is reading the potato peel book. The These is My Words series is one of my most favorites and I have been anxious to read one called the Poisonwood Bible.

Also there is a series out that is supposed to be really good. It is called Twilight, I think it's about vampires or something
